So Gypsy and I are heading off to the beach. We will be gone from tonight on to next Saturday (the 19th) and we will probably then spend the next few days back on the job search and trying to catch up with the world of fiction. Now everyone play nice and please don't let the world of writing go all splodie bits again!

woot! Gypsy's Service Dog vest arrived today! I am so excited! This is the culmination of well over a year's worth of training and frustration. Not to mention the vindictive "nya nya" to my folks.

My dad has been against this exercise since the beginning. He believes I just need to get over myself and all that rather than rely on a crutch like my dog. He also wants Gypsy GONE from the house. He HATES having animals in the house. I kinda agree with him on the first point (not on the gypsy being gone point). I do really just need to get over myself and move on, but training Gypsy has been one of the things that helped move me along to getting better. And I really do relax more when she is with me, which prevents so many problems. Gypsy, my anti-drug! ::snickers::

Last night Dad had his friends over to play poker (Mom was in NJ last night and today) and he turned to one of his buddies and said, "We are all proud of Gypsy. She finished her Service Dog training this past week." And then he showed him her paperwork! I was just about fit to burst with happiness. ::snuggles daddy:: He can act like such a bastard sometimes, but then he turns around and does shit like this and I just have to love all over him.

So today is like the bestest best day every to be! No really! Many of you may not know, but my dog Gypsy (the one in the icon) and I have been training for quite some time now for her to become my service dog. Today she FINALLY passed all her tests and is now a certified service dog. WOOOHOOO

So yea, this is the best news i have had in ages and i just wanted to share . . .

and to stay on topic, I both am frightened and can't wait to read DH. It should be here soon. I hope.

And in other news, still no life, no job and no fic. But my dog is certified. Life is good.

So . . . In the course of a normal day i often go outside to read and smoke as I find smoking inside to be rather offensive (not to mention the nasty yellow film that gets all over everything). Typicly I sit out in the garrage, and as the door into the garage is never locked this works well.

I think you can see where this is going.

I also suffer from insomnia. So this morning at one am I headed down the stairs and outside. I firmly shut the door behind me, sat down with my laptop and enjoyed a fine cigarette while reading a fic. Imagine my horror when i realized that the door was locked! Being a resourceful person I headed around the house and checked all the doors and windows I could reach. Locked up tigheter than Fort Nox!

Well now, four hours and half a pack later, I am still locked out of the house and my father chose today of all days to sleep in. Usually he is up around four-ish. But not today. No. Today I am stuck outside and damned thankful that it is reasonably warm as I am in my pajamas and I have no slippers on. Fortunitly I did not lock my car yesterday and was able to retrieve my lap blanket to curl up under.

Now, if I could just find some Snarry forced bonding fics with plenty of angst and a nice happy ending this just might not be so bad.

ETA: It is now 5:30am, and my father finally came downstairs and let me in. I am most happy and am now going to bed.

Okay so I am having some troubles here. I need to get back into writing. I've had writers block for at least two months now and I really need to get my arse in gear. I have already given up on NaNoWriMo! Instead I challenged myself to join a fic exchange so that I would really have NO excuse not to write something. It needs to be >5,000 words and is due in February.

Now the requested threesome is one that I have NEVER read, never considered writing and never really had much interest in, so my beloved f-list I come to you begging for help.

What I need is slashy Neville recs and help finding Gen drabbles and stuff like that so I can get a better feel for him. The other two requested characters I should have little problem with, as I know them well ::leers::

Oh and in other news, I still have yet to find inspiration for sweetsorcery's requested Tom/Harry fluffiness, however I did manage two Gen drabbles about Charlie for the_minx_17.

The prompts came from one of those tables over at 100quills. I am supposed to be writing them under drgnskr_charlie however the person in charge of the com seems to have fallen off the face of the planet since midsummer, so I am going to post them here to share with you, my friends.
